The Mission Support Division in PEN’s main focus is to put systems and measures in place to support and guide the Wellness and Wholeness Program in their daily function.  These systems include: HR, financial, administrative, marketing, information/communication and technical systems.

Human Resources Function
As with any organisation the human factor (the heart) is of the utmost importance in order to make the organisation run smoothly.  The HR function at PEN is responsible to make sure that the heart of PEN is looked after.  This includes anything from career guidance and recruitment to payroll.

Marketing
PEN has a dedicated marketing team that aims to share the story of our city with individuals, corporates, churches and potential donors in order to raise sufficient support to enable PEN programs to serve our community effectively.

Public Relations
Within the Public Relations function PEN liaise with the public, business sector, media, etc, to create a presence and an awareness of PEN.  This serves PEN by gaining support and create opportunity for partnerships through various channels like media, events and campaigns.

Finances
The biggest component in any Non Profit Organisation is acquiring sufficient revenue to sustain all activities, but more so the management thereof.  It is imperative that PEN will remain transparent concerning finances and to have systems in place to support programs with their spend and budget management. PEN is audited annually and financial statements are available on request.

ITC Systems
Information, telephony and computer systems are vital to our programs to ensure quality services and optimal impact to the community.  These systems are available to our programs and support to manage and effectively utilise these systems are offered on a continuous basis.

Administration
This function is important in order to have systems within the management process run smoothly.  Committed staff and volunteers assist PEN with this very important component.
